Jacinta Tan has a dual background of medicine as well as philosophy and psychology. She is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who is also an empirical medical ethics researcher. Her research interests are treatment decision-making in anorexia nervosa, the ethics and law of capacity, the development of autonomy, and treatment decision-making models. |

Ray Fitzpatrick is Professor of Public Health and Primary Care, University of Oxford and Fellow, Nuffield College , Oxford . He is chair of a National Health Service Research & Development Unit in Oxford and directs a programme for the Department of Health, Patient Health Instruments, which provides analysis, reviews and advice for the NHS on patient-reported outcome measures. His research focuses on evaluation of health services, particularly interventions for chronic diseases. From 1998 to 2003 he was a member of Council, Medical Research Council. From 1998 to 2007, he was a Governor for BUPA Research Foundation. He chairs the Scientific Committee, National Prevention Research Initiative. He is currently chair of the Research Assessment Exercise 2008, panel for Health Services Research. |

Anne Stewart is Consultant Adolescent Psychiatrist in the Oxford City Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford . She leads the Oxford City community eating disorder team and is actively involved in assessment, treatment, and consultation regarding adolescent eating disorders. She has a particular interest in the prevention of eating disorders and has developed guidelines for schools to improve early identification and management. Her research interests include prevention of eating disorders, self harm in adolescence, cognitions in adolescent depression, and treatment decision making in anorexia nervosa. She is Chair of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Foundation NHS Trust Clinical Ethics Committee. |

Emma Baldock is training as a Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Psychiatry , King's College London. She is in the final stages of a doctoral thesis on decision-making capacity and anorexia nervosa which was funded by the Wellcome Trust and supervised by Professor Jonathan Glover and Professor Janet Treasure. |

Robin Stewart trained in fine art at Belfast College of Art, the Slade School of Fine Art and Camberwell College of Art. His work is mostly painting and drawing.
